Kodak refreshes identity with retro-inspired logo




 

Kodak has redesigned its logo for the first time in a decade, going back to the 1971 version that we will all be familiar with from the days of Kodak film!

Work-Order, from New York, were responsible for the 'new' identity, (we would suggest more of a reverting rebrand) which features a graphic red K symbol set against a yellow background, with the word 'Kodak' written vertically.

The previous version had been in use since 2006 but they have returned to the familiar K following brand recognition research where 58% of respondents revealing they new the brand from the outline alone. (You've probably seen the game apps for guessing the logo from a brief clue/part!)
